4 week shares are available for purchase at Ijuba Lodge within the Matekula conservancy. Set on the escarpment, straddling two beautiful valleys, the Estate covers 2800 ha of high altitude grassland and Afromontane forest, home to a plethora of big and small game including; Giraffe, Eland, Kudu, Zebra, Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest and many other smaller game species and birds.

The Estate has 7 fully furnished Lodges with Ijuba Lodge being centrally located in the conservancy. Ijuba lodge is a beautiful old English style main house with a central dinging room and lounge, large kitchen with all of the equipment and cutlery you could need. There are 3 on suite bedrooms in the main lodge, all of which sleep two, with double or single beds. There are two additional stand-alone stone cottages with on suite bathrooms and large fire places to keep warm in the chilly winter months. the lodge overlooks the middle portion of the valley with incredible views down the escarpment.

Owners and their guests have traversing rights of the conservancy and phenomenal fishing on several dams and weirs on the property. The property is manages by a dedicated farm manager and team that ensure the paths, roads and infrastructure are well maintained and that the stocking program is managed and quality of fishing is fantastic.

The conservancy offers outdoor lovers a large playground for mountain biking, trail running and hiking with many kilometers of trails and rugged off-road tracks into the spectacular scenery.
